Lama (Dr) Ngawang Jorden

 

Lama (Dr) Ngawang Jorden earned Kachupa (B.A.) and Loppon (M.A.) degree in Buddhist Philosophy from the Sakya College. In 1991, he received Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) degree from Harvard Divinity School and Ph.D. in 2003. Currently he is teaching Tibetan language and Buddhism at the University of Chicago. He frequently travels to Europe, Nepal and South East Asia to teach Buddhism and deliver lectures. He regularly teaches at the International Buddhist Academy in Nepal, and at the TIBETcenter Chicago.

He received his spiritual teachings from several Tibetan masters, such as, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, His Holiness Sakya Trizin (Head of the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism), His Eminence Chogay Trichen Rinpoche (Head of the Tshar sub-school of Sakya), His Eminence Luding Khen Rinpoche (Head of Ngor sub-school of Sakya), Most Venerable Khenpo Appey Rinpoche and many others, such as the late His Holiness Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche, the late Venerable Deshung Rinpoche, late Venerable Khenpo Rinchen (who was also a tutor of His Holiness Sakya Trizin), late Venerable Tharig Rinpoche, and late Venerable Khenpo Lodo Sangpo (who was his first teacher at the Sa-Ngor-Tshar-Gsum monastery in Sikkim).

Blue Thunder

 

Bennie E LeBeau, Sr., Elder, BlueThunder is an enrolled tribal member of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe, Wind River Indian Reservation, Ft Washakie, Wyoming. Blue Thunder has had many years of experience in indigenous tradition and culture within the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. Through the encouragement of his Eastern Shoshone Elders, he studied Cultural Anthropology and Applied Indigenous Studies at Northern Arizona University, located in Flagstaff, AZ. Studying the scientific methods of communication at NAU, which now has allowed Mr. LeBeau to speak from a truly Native American perspective. Educational wisdom of the Indigenous wisdom has helped him to cross reference the wisdom from two worlds.  Native American's laws of nature and the Institutional Education systems of the world at large have opened Indigenous Perspectives.   This wisdom and knowledge can now be proven in scientific theory.  This proof can now be taken into consideration that he believes can help changed in the educational institutional classrooms. Teaching nature's laws and how the actions of humanity across America and the world have impacted nature by man made laws.
